Hello Friend 🙂

Welcome to Roses and Writing.

This blog has been created to share thoughts and learnings and laughter and smiles and ideas with whomever may like to see them.

Feel free to browse amongst the categories and enjoy some random thoughts, or find something to make you laugh. I pray you are encouraged by joyful stories or find something to bring a little sunshine to your day 🙂

Oh, and also…for a little “about me” info so you’re not wondering who the fingers behind the screen-blog-curtain-situation belong to:

(p.s. Thank you anyone who was able to pick up on my terrible attempt at a Wizard of Oz association…)

My name is The Red Lady (but also known as Sam, sorella, peaches, a pocket fairy, the evil dr rabbit, soprah, and squirrel…feel free to comment if you’d like any further explanations)

Christ is my Lord and Savior, and I am in awe of His gloriousness. My life goal is to serve Him by serving others, by spreading the incredible love I have received through helping others, coming alongside needs, and sharing joyfulness and vibrancy with anyone around me!

I am currently finishing my degree in English, with a focus in creative writing and minor of music 🙂

I love all things of creative nature, whether that be in the realm of writing, kitchen creations, craftiness, or music!

Also, I really love raw cacao, all sorts of teas, sunshine, nature in general, natural healing/learning about health, being an Italian by heritage and New Yorker by birth, and musing on curious thoughts

I have attempted a few blogs in the past with limited success, including vloggery (side-note: my other current blog will have all posts linked to the Kitchen Adventures page on the blog you are now on…plus, I make occassional YouTube appearances, though that is not a habitual thing at the moment)

SO, feel free to browse around and such and so forth

Have a WONDERFUL day 🙂

Ciao for now
